Lindstrom Excavating Contractors, Inc. was established in 1977 on the Eastern Shore in Kent County, Maryland by Duane Lindstrom.   With a very humble beginning, Duane started the company with one road grader and one front end loader serving the farming community.  

 

Duane introduced his four sons (Kyle, Matthew, Corey, and Alex) to the business early on and showed them the ins and outs of the industry.  In addition to Duane's sons, other employees' sons have come aboard to learn the trade.  This is truly a family business.  

 

Throughout the years, Lindstrom Excavating has served such customers as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; various State Agencies, Schools and Universities; and private companies including The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, The Brawner Company and Interstate General Company, L.P.

 

Thirty-five years later, Lindstrom Excavating has grown to a thirty-man company using the latest in gps technology and enough equipment to complete any project.
